The Engine caught a 1st due fire just after midnight on Wrightsville Rd. A smoldering fire decided to show itself in the single family dwelling. The fire was quickly extinguished and Engine 1 and Engine 8 performed extensive overhaul. The two companies were left alone after a second fire was dispatched in Ladysmith.
