At 0815, Wagon 1 and Medic 114 were alerted for a vehicle fire on Fredericksburg Turnpike. The medic unit arrived to find a SUV fully involved and Engines 1 and 6 were added to the call. Wagon 1 had a quick knockdown and units cleared rather quickly. However, the road remained restricted to only one lane until 1000 hrs for vehicle and debris removal.
