At 1015 hrs, Squad 2 (Ladysmith), Squad 1, Medics 114, 115, 514 were alerted for a multi-vehicle crash with entrapment. Chief 2 arrived and found three vehicles scattered across the highway at the 105 mm. One was overturned and the patient was self extricated, all others were also free of the vehicles. The squad companies remained on the scene for approximately 25 minutes to assist with traffic control and patient assessments. The apparatus cleared after the arrival of VDOT.
