During the severe storms Engine 1 and Squad 1 cleared from a motor vehicle accident on Rogers Clark Blvd and were sent to Sparta for an entrapment accident. Chief 4 arrived and confirmed two patients entrapped. The single vehicle had struck a tree and had heavy damage. One patient was removed and died enroute to the hospital. A second patient was treated and transported to Mary Washington Hospital.
