On 3/23/2021 at 1842, Companies 5 and 1 along with Medic 5 were dispatched to the area of Signboard Rd and Burruss Ln for the reported Motor Vehicle Accident. With limited information, Squad 1 (w/3), Engine 1 (w/2), Medic 5 and Battalion 1 all responded. Medic 5 arrived on the scene first with a 2 vehicle accident, reporting heavy damage to both vehicles. Shortly after arriving, Medic 5 requested an additional medic unit to the scene and for Company 1 units to expedite to assist in removing a critical patient from the vehicle. Upon the arrival of Squad 1 and Battalion 1, man power was sent to the vehicle to remove the patient. Battalion 1 held the command until the arrival of Chief 10.
