On January 31, 2021 at 2155 Caroline alerted Company 1 for the motor vehicle accident with minimal information at the 117 NB AP Hill Blvd. SQD 1 w/3 and Medic 1 responded and found a single pickup truck overturned on the guardrail with a partial ejection with a patient trapped under the vehicle. The assignment was upgraded bringing the Engine, Utility, BC and Medic 2. Squad 1 went to work stabilizing the vehicle and began the extrication. The engine arrived and assisted in the stabilization and extrication that was ongoing. Once the patient was removed from the vehicle, Medic 2 was returned to service and the patient was transported to the closest trauma facility by Medic 1.
