Engine and DC 10 Run Box Alarm In Belmont

Shortly after 08:30 hours the Bowling Green Volunteers were alerted for a residential fire on Gallant Fox Way in the Belmont Subdivision. Bringing the wagon and DC 10. Chief 10 Arrived on scene first to find a single family dwelling with fire showing on the 2nd floor. Engine 2 went on scene, picked up a water supply, and advanced a 1 3/4" attack line. Wagon 1 arrived seconds later and began a aggressive interior attack . AP Hill Engine 8 checked the interior of the structure for extension. Chief 10 (Hartle ) held the "Gallant Fox Way Command" and Chief 21 ) was the "Attack Group Supervisor". Command then held the units from 2 and 1 for overhaul. The Bowling Green and Ladysmith Volunteers operated on scene for approximately 4 hours before returning to service
