2,000 Hay Bails and 40 Acres Burn Near Four Winds Campground |

| High winds forced a fire to quickly spread in every direction near the Campground at Four Winds in Port Royal. Apparatus from the entire county as well as Spotsylvania and King George responded. Engine 1 arrived and was ordered to protect multiple endangered campers. Brush 1 assisted with fire control and extinguishment. Apparatus from Port Royal remained on the scene for over 24 hours and still returned 3 days later for more smoke scares. |
