| Engine 1 was responding to a crash on the BG Bypass at 1352 hrs. Just as they arrived a fuel truck struck one of the vehicles involved in the original crash. This created additional injuries as well as a gasoline, diesel, and hydraulic spill. Engine 8 and HAZMAT 8 were dispatched along with Medic 7. Patients were packaged and transported to the hospital. Fire apparatus remained on the scene until all hazards were mitigated. |
