By BG Volunteers
February 9, 2010

Once again Caroline County firefighters were hampered by another round of extreme weather. Dispatched to a residential fire on N. Roy Ln, Wagon 1 arrived to find three vehicles stuck in the snow covered driveway and no other access to the burning home. Crews from Eng 1 and Wag 1 grabbed there tools and took a hike through the woods to the fire. Once Brush 2 arrived, a winch was hooked to one of the blocking vehicles and access was made, but only for Brush apparartus. The occupants escaped injury and and the fire is still under investigation.

Units: Engine 1, Wagon 1, Brush 2, Engine 2, Brush 4, Brush 5, Brush 6, Tanker 6, Medic 229
