Engine 1 and Squad 1 headed to the Interstate for an overturned tractor trailer. Once the medic unit arrived it was confirmed that the driver was trapped. Engine 1 arrived and gained access to the patient by taking out the winshield. Squad 2 arrived shortly after and used the hydraulic cutters to take out the center piece of the windshield. The patient was then quickly extricated and transported to the hospital.
