April 26, 2015

Shortly after lunch Engine # 1 was alerted for the reported smoke coming from the house on Scotts Lane in the Bowling Green District . While enroute Caroline E.C.C. advised responding units that they were receiving multiple calls. DC 10 arrived first to find a single story wood frame structure with fire showing from side Alpha. Engine 1 advanced an attack line but was met with extreme conditions throughout the home evacuation tones were sounded. Crews then worked for the next several hours containing the fire. No injuries and it was confirmed to be an abandoned house. Engine 1 and Squad 1 cleared the scene at 18:30 hours.
