Engine 1 was alerted for an auto accident with reported entrapment in the area of Rogers Clark and Dry Bridge Road. Medic 226 quickly arrived to find a single vehicle collision with one pinned with serious injuries. Engine 2 stabilized the vehicle and began extrication efforts. Seconds later Engine 1 arrived and completed the extrication by removing the driver’s side of the vehicle and the roof. Once that task was completed Engine 1 then utilized the Hurst spreaders to lift the driver side dash away from the patient, which completed the extrication. Medic 226 provided patient care and transported to the hospital.
