An unknown substance in the dumpster at the Widewake waste convenience site was reported by employees Friday evening. The substance was reported to have an "overwhelming" odor and Bowling Green, along with A.P. Hill's HazMat 8 and units from Port Royal responded to investigate. Once crews were able to make entry to the dumpster, it was determined the source was used motor oil and primer. The containers were secured and deemed safe. No one was injured and no damage was reported.

Units: E-1, W-1, U-1, U-3
